    Timmy Feedneck Threads, Anyone ?

Never had a Timmy before but I stumbled into one, 2K5 Lasoya.

Anyone have any idea what the feedneck threads are ?

As far as I'm aware, most 2k5 Timmys use what is referred to as 2k2/Alias threads.

Doesn't look like Simon has an FLE feedneck that is made for these markers.

The 2k5s are the same as some cockers like the Karni.. at least I think it is.

Got an email in to Field One Paintball.

              Hopefully they will know.

If not probably Tim Firpo will.

But Doug you may be happy to know I did buy an ID feedneck for the Tac One.

The picatinny prevents using a Violent Axe feedneck and I dont like the CCM thats on it now....

I just support, promote and use ID products. No matter what i say, you the individual are the deciding factor in what you buy.

                  From Garret at Field One:

The 2k5 Lasoya should have cocker threads for the feedneck.
There maybe a slight chance it came with 2k2 intimidator threads.
Cocker threads are a wide, whereas 2k2 is skinny and basically straight tube. Do you have pictures?
Sent him a link to pics.

What does it mean cocker threads , that it would be a female threaded feedneck ?

                  Not sure.

No. The stub bodies for feednecks is a newer trend. The body is threaded and the feedneck screws in. I would go to the timmy owners group for more exact info.

So there are 2 different versions of the feednecks for that Intimidator level (Alias). One is a wide feedneck and the other is thinner.

That looks like a 2k2/alias threaded feedneck.
Unless theres something close to those threads I guess there won't be another feedneck in that markers future...

Those are called "2K2" threads. Also, called "Alias" but they were introduced on the 2K2 timmy.
I've owned my alias since it was newly released in 2005.. and the best feedneck I've ever had on it was the Bob Long Leverlock, it was a 2 piece, not unlike the ID brand necks. They're slim pickens nowadays but you may want to keep an eye on Dirty Works as he's got all the old inventory (http://www.dirtyworks.com/blast-lega...-complete.html).
Other than that, a CCM neck, or a Hybrid are also decent options.

The Bob Long Intimidator Feedneck is a great clamping feed neck that will hold any type of paintball Loader. Throw a Bob Long Feedneck on your paintball gun and upgrade your stock neck.

I swore I'd never buy from them again but I bought that.

                            Hope it works.

And I hope they send the right item, I've heard horror stories.

I've never had a Gen 3 where I could screw the feedneck into the body. It's always been like the Autococker but smaller.
