Minimag question

Getting back into paintball and want to build this old minimag. Anyone have an idea what is on the body of this minimag? The hose on the side that goes into the chamber? If you know what it is then can you tell me what it does?

Looks like some sort of a home made expansion chamber for CO2 use.

If you're planning to use HPA, then you can remove that part and just run an air line from the ASA to the valve.

i didnt know that shade of blue was offered from the factory

they had that shade as well as cobalt blue, green, purple, gold, red and silver that I know of

pictured is cobalt blue. they also had royal blue, electric blue, olive and pewter. kind of hard to find pictures of automags in factory anodized parts other than the usual black.
