I currently tested 3 different types of paintballs 6 times. I did Tom's test of dropping paintballs from 6 ft. and then catching them. I would then redrop from 6 ft again. This is just a preliminary test that I will begin doing more of to find out just what is good paint and what is bad paint.
The paintballs that tested were:
RPS Marbalizer
RPS Slam
Powerball
Results(# of drops taken to break):
RPS Marbalizer- 1, 10, 4, 4, 11, 9 AVG= 6.5
RPS Slam------- 2, 3, 2, 9, 9, 1 AVG= 4.3
Powerball------ 6, 1, 2, 1, 5, 1 AVG= 2.6
Powerball is by far the most brittle from what I tested. Marbilizer was the strongest tested. These are just preliminary results. I will be testing these out once again with more paint.
