What are the measurements on the screw near the front of the rail body which holds in your VA/Foregrip? Just got a KAPP foregrip extender and didn't come with any screws so i'm one short. Thanks.

i don't know the exact measurements but i would like to wish you luck finding one tha fits correctly. I know that i looked for one and i couldn't find one that would fit between the rail and the mainbody correctly, so if you find one that works, make sure you share the wealth...

actually there'll be no problems with the mainbody because I used the old one on that. I just need one that will work with my foregrip which is extended. I guess if it is too long though it could have problems fitting with a barrel. Arrgh. Oh well i'm gonna go to the hardware store tomorrow and take the other one, and try to find one just like it."Conquest is made in the ashes of ones enemies." -Starscream

Actually its not the same screw. Have you tried those? Because the screw for the VA is wider. I tried my frame screws on both the Foregrip extender and the Gas Through Grip and it was too skinny."Conquest is made in the ashes of ones enemies." -Starscream

You are talking about the screw that goes thru the body rail, to hold a vert asa on, correct?
Yep, tried them several times...
Use them on 3 different setups, and they are all interchangable.
As a matter of fact, the marker i just janked apart to check with has the exact same screws (#10-32 1/4") for the front of the grip, the vert asa, and both screws for the inline asa (attached to the bottom of the grip frame).
Maybe the brand you got uses a different sized screw, which would be... well, screwy (hehe)
If the grip frame screw doesnt fit, i cant help you. Sorry.
If you'll notice, the grip frame screw even screws into the valve...
Every screw on these markers is #10-32 in varied lengths.
Thats one of the really nice things i like about mags... interchangable parts.
Sorry i couldnt be of more help

Yeah thats weird. Maybe its just the screw for the TKO Foregrip(which screws directly into the rail, not an asa) which would make sense. But the same screw fits the KAPP foregrip extender. The regular frame screws won't fit the extender. I don't know whats up, but anyone else have a similar experience?"Conquest is made in the ashes of ones enemies." -Starscream

the only thing i can think of would be if a previous screw got caught in the forgrip extender and thus it had to be drilled and rethreaded. but my assumption was that you bought this thing brand new and thus it shouldn't really be a problem. if i find anything else i'll let you know."To serve to strive and not to yield"

Yeah brand new, got it a month ago. Well I went to the hardware store and ended up finding out its a 1/4x20 screw. Got a new one about the same length and it screwed right into the Foregrip with the foregrip extender, perfect fit. And i used the old screw to hold the Foregrip extender on. Oh well, kind of sucks now though that I need a phillips head and an allen wrench to fully strip the whole thing though."Conquest is made in the ashes of ones enemies." -Starscream

well i suppose if it raelly means a lot to you that you're able to strip the gun you could always call the company and pay 1$ for a screw + shipping...but i think you should just stick with what you've got. glad you found something that works."To serve to strive and not to yield"
