    Tippmann Raider ?

Would this be considered a box mag or would it need to be removable ?

Its in french but later on in the video he does dismantle it.

I wonder what kind of efficiency it gets with the cyclone feed...

It looks like a loading system that TK teased us with around the time he retired. IIRC he just posted a sketch with the loader coming off the bottom of the grip frame.

    What is a Box Mag?

Mechanical or at least cheaper version of the Empire Defender.

It's not removable and you reload with pods, not a mag.

Even the dye box mag is not really a mag unless you actually remove it and put a new mag in its place but if you use it like most people, ie, reload it with pods then it's just a under mounted hopper

I'm not really into limited paint play unless its hopper ball but I do read about magfed paintball from time to time.

One of the first, or at least one of the most often posted about on the net seems to be the Dye Dam magfed marker.

They came out with a reloadable box mag that holds 325.

4:40 looks like an Ion bolt to me.

And for the box mag for the Dam. It is unweildy. Hard to get your arm around it to shoulder it. The rectangle lids absolutely suck at trying to reload without paying attention. So if you are not looking at it or pouring the pod slowly, you can dump half a pod quite easily.

                  The Raider ?

They have a history of ugly markers, the Raider is at least interesting.

                  How about the Gryphon ?

Looks like it'd be pretty hard to aim with. The feeding system wouldn't clear the bottom of the mask making it hard to center. :\

I dont think it would take long using it to get used to that, although it might if you use several different markers during a days play.

They are supposed to be out in February.

When your local pro shop gets one in, take your mask and go down and try pointing it with your mask on.

Pretty sure you could develop muscle memory just like some do with handguns.

Still no video in English yet.

I thought this close to release ANSGear or someone would have done one....
