I heard that micromags have problems, but i dont know what they are.

    Can someone inform me?

And how hard is it to fix it up for a hyperframe?

a "Mirco Mag" is a product made by proteam products. its got an aluminum (SP) body with cocker threading. it uses a regular AGD vaulve.. i think a hyper frame will work on one..

Micromags, the only problems you might have is fitting some AGD parts on them. I think the inteliframe works, and most other frames do too. Barrels, Ive heard that there is no standard for cocker threading, because of the anno, so certain barrels may not fit exactly. The hyperframe should work, you just need to file the wings on the frame off. I think it might be worth it to send it into Centerflag, I beleive they charge for the milling, but it ensures a sure fit.

I dont personally have a micro, but I do have a hyper. Also, I'm not totally sure about the barrel tollerances, but I do remember there being a story by Tom stating the tollerance problems on cocker threads when the Xtremes were being proto'd..

Good to know that somone of Tom's status seeks "relief" from a sport he helped create. A sport now ruled by a single patent.

I have a Micro with an Intelliframe, Retro and Superbolt. it goes without saying that its a 'Mag in every sense of the word, it just happens to have an aluminum body with cocker threading.

I personally have not had any problems putting cocker barrels on it, I have tried about half a dozen. I have noticed that barrels tend to loosen up some when I play and I have to remember to tighten it up between games.

I love my Micro and am looking for another body and what not, albeit half-heartededly, to make into a Hyper-Micro since I can't seem to find a Micro E-mag for a good deal.

As far as AGD parts go, I am not sure what else you would want to put on it besides Retro, Intelliframe, and a Superbolt and all of those work great.

        Just my .02.
