    e-mag upgrade

    can anyone tell me if you can upgrade your old mag to an e-mag and if so how much any help would be wonderfulthanks

    They were planning to put an program in effect - but its been delayed and its not positive if it will ever be put in place. Basically the price was $550, but if you can sell your mag for $300-400 you have nearly enough for a NEW emag, with a retro valve and you dont have to wait 1/2 a year!

      Performing a refit from other models is a bit tricky. Most Mag's have quite a bit of play in the clevis' pivot point, which will greatly affect the E-Mag's functioning, this part is replaced with one that is much tighter fitting, sometimes requiring rework on the body itself to fit the parts correctly. This is a very time intensive operation, and AGD is not sure yet that they want to undertake it.

      Since the operation was origionally going to convert only 30 Mags a week and that you had to get on a waiting list, your best bet is to sell your current Mag and buy a new E-Mag.
