    Cleaning out regulator?

well not specifically Mag regs but i'm looking to clean my Air America for-reg and ANS Jackhammer LPR. Will just unscrew teh reg nut/knob and clean off the spring do it? And about that silvery greese stuff, should i try as hard as possible to not wipe that stuff off or should i do whatever it takes to get the dirt out?

The grease is there only to prevent rust. As long as you re-grease it, you can clean the spring-pack off too. Use any high temp automotive, or lithium grease.

Yeah, get every little thing you can outta there, then just re-grease. It should work perfectly.
