Finally got out to a field to air up and put my gear through a test run.

Aired up and mech mode worked beautifully.

Put my battery on and immediately got a small red dot and smoke from my board. (I have clear grips so had the pleasure of watching it)

So... I guess I need a board now. So do these even exist for sale anywhere?
