    For you people with E-mags.

Looking into buying an emag; few questions about chopping and such. I would like to know on average how much you chop out of a case of paint WITH a warp or halo? What about barrel breaks? Also is the ROF faster on hybrid then electro? On hybrid its a mouseclick trigger with a reactive feel, right? What kind of charger does the emag come with? How long does it take to charge?

My gun debate is between an Emag, Angel, or a Iframed Vision Rat Impulse which would you pick?

I chop zero. I have breaks down the barrel less that one per case. I shoot bigball.

Well, I don't have alot of experience as I have only played one day and run one case of paint through my new emag + warp, but during that day I shot a case and did not break a single ball. I was using team colors with a dye ultralight barrel.

to date i have had ZERO breaks of anykind through my emag (does a little happy dance)

i've put 4 cases of: blaze, the zap tourney paint at skyball, something blue with advantage shell and cheap zap field paint.

My black magic shooting the same paint? well thats another story alltogether.

The first time I took mine out I shot up some 4 month old old Proball seconds. Had two breaks down the barrel in about a half a case. After using it up I was then on to some Powerball Pearl. Not one break and now at 8700 shots on the counter. Probably 7500 of those are actual shots. I did chop one ball a week or so ago while I was trying to empty the last few balls out of the warp by tilting it almost upside down and shaking them out with the PF plug out. Accidently hit the trigger. But in action I have never chopped a ball. And this includes all the people who I have lent the thing to that were trying it out too. No chops and those two explainable barrel breaks. No lie at all. I got plenty of witnesses to prove it. We have TRIED to chop the thing and cannot. I am using a Warp Feed with 12V Revy and Warp body by the way.

Well I seem to be the odd man out as I do get around 3-4 brakes per case. Now I'm shooting some pretty bad paint. My teammate who uses a dark Angel brakes about the same. We are both using warps. Most of the time the are barrel brakes with a chop only happening on the last few balls of the hopper (operator error so to speak).

By the way, I switched from a Dark LCD Angel to the Emag and I'm very happy I did it. Just this past weekend the manual option saved a ruined day of paintball. I forgot to trun off my marker after cleaning it the time before and the battery was dead. Other electros would have left me sitting on the sidelines for a while watching it recharge.

                  Hope this .02 helps.

I have had a lot of chopping problems right near the feed. But it seems to come and go. I use RPS Premium and have often wondered if its the paint and not the gun. Either way, I've sent it in to AGD for an overhaul. It should be there tomorrow!

No chops at all with JT dry shell. 1 barrel break with some 10 year old Nelson that my buddy had from his stocker days (that shell lasts forever!)

I have done my best to break something, but the Warp won't let it bobble enough.

I can't remember the last time I've had a barrel break that wasn't operator induced (running a warp out of paint). I've had mine for almost a year exactly and don't know how many cases.

When I got my gun I tested it with some old Polar Ice, no barrel breaks, but i did chop the last ball in the hopper, that can be expected in a fast string of shots so I say 0!

I never chop unless (1)I leave it on 16bps and walk the trigger(I do have a warp, but I shoot long strings walking that trigger and my revvie just dosnt keep up) (2)I forgot to turn on my Revvie. I chopped some Saturday, but it was raining and my paint got all gooie , but on an average day I have 0 chops, 0 barrel breaks. I don't think Ive ever had a barrel break(unless I had one Saturday, I broke quite a bit Saturday because of all teh rain that got in all my stuff) and I use Anarchy which is considered a pretty brittle shell(I havnt done the bounce test to it yet...).

                              ENDO!
