Emag Charging Problem

ok i have come across a few problems charging my microE, first think i did today was go to radio shack and i got all the right stuff, i double checked it and its the right stuff

anyways, when i plug the charger into the battery the green light comes on, that means its full, but i know its not because when i put it into the gun and switch to E mode, nothing happens

PLUS i never got a little yellow thingy with the gun so doesnt that mean that the battery woud be dead?


also, which polarity is it? + or -
i was thinking it was + but can someone tell me for sure?

You will need the little pin when you want to go to diffrent modes.

Does it power up when you put the battery in? It should post a start up message the moment you connect the battery if you dont have a pin.

The green light dosnt mean its full, it means its charging(weird, eh'?). You are fine without the pin, I'd just take the battery off when not in use until you get a new pin. Call AGD, they will hook ya up.

If when you press the battery against the contacts it doesn't light up the LED and say AGD 1.3x, then the battery is dead or the HES magnet is out of adjustment.

First thing to do is charge the battery for 3-4 hours ignoring the light. Then put it on again and if it still doesn't light up, disconnect it and then take off your left grip panel. Unplug the black, yellow and red wire connector on the center of the board and then connect the battery again. If the board boots up, then the HES magnet is too close to the frame. Unscrew the magnet in the center of the trigger so it goes into the trigger more, connect the three wire connector and then try again.

If it still won't boot up, your battery pack is dead and you need to call AGD and get it replaced. Call AGD for the yellow battery cut-off pin. In the meantime, you can use a golf tee.

ok that all sounds inteligent but this is my first mag let alone emag so i have NO freakin clue what you just said

ok i charged the battery last night for oh, id say 3 hours, anyways i put it on the gun and shot a few times but in about 5 minutes it said low battery
i mean it was chargin for 3 hours and then all the sudden it came up with this low battery crap

so the gun will boot and shoot in emode?
Sounds like a bum battery and or charger. Anybody local around you that you could swap parts with and isolate the problem? Other than that think your marker is due for a trip to AGD.

yes everything works, as in it shoots and everything but it just seems as tho the battery dies really fast?
maybe i do need a new one?

Use the car charger and charge it over night. Try that first.


Oh... and make sure the car you use has a live outlet when key is off...
