I didn't see the show, and am probably the only one with this viewpoint: I don't expect them to use proper protection on TV shows. The producers pay in many cases, tens of thousands of dollars for these actors to star in their shows and the last thing they want to do is cover their faces. Notice when there is a TV family sitting around a table, that very seldom is somebody sitting with their back to the camera. Face time is what they want, and an actor's back doesn't sell advertising time. We are probably more concerned with our image than the masses watching the show who are only watching for a laugh. I think shows like "Jackass" only show how stupid the people in the show are, not how dangerous paintball is. The typical viewer probably doesn't watch a show and walk away thinking "Hey, that sure looks like a dangerous sport! What kind of moron wants to play that??!" That's my view, YMMV!
