    flatline question (springs)

can i buy a Lp spring for my flatline so i can run sub 300psi with consistancy?

i have a freeflow and gave up on having 2 regs. the blackice keeps eating reg seat so i want just a tank reg... if the flatline cant do it i will get a maxflow.

Just use a spring pack out of an AIR valve.

Why run it at 250psi? Just get a Sidewinder or Messiah and run those at 250psi and the Flatline at about 450psi. The Blackice isn't a LP reg, so that's why you've been having problems with it.

I'm interested in going lower than 700psi on my 68/4.5k Flatline as well. Reason being, the lower you can set your tank output as, the more shots you can get off before the tank starts dropping off. For example, if you have a preset output tank set at 800psi, you start losing pressure once the bottle pressure drops below 800. So lowering output pressure to say around 550, you can go that much lower on bottle pressure before starving the gun. Also it's not a good idea to set your output pressure below what a Mag valve needs.
So, would the spring pack out of an AIR valve really work? The 4.5k Flatlines aren't recommended to be set below 700psi.

700 psi is good.. I wouldnt go any lower than that either way. I have a 3k flatline and I set mine around 700

When I put the Flatline on another marker that can go lower on pressure, it would be helpful. 700psi may be okay for a Mag but I'm talking about other markers.

Ok, well then Im not sure, I believe the spring pack is different on teh 4.5k tanks, and It may or may not be interchangable with the mag spring pack. You could give it a try, as long as you have a inline reg on the marker you are using. Just monitor the tank fluctuations.

mag spring packs are good from around 250-450 from my understandings.
