i am going to get a freak barrel soon, and i was wondering if there is any real difference between a 10" & 12" tip. if there isnt i will probably get a 10", but the 12's look good. i did order a lapco from thepaintballstore.com 2 weeks ago & still havent got it. it only take 3 days for somthing in the mail to get from florida to texas. so if they dont send me my money back, ill sell the lapco barrel.

Keep in mind that the freak barrles always seem to run a little long. I had a 12" freak and it was actualy a little closer to 14". Go for the 10". -
Well, no real big difference, and in my experience, not only are the FREAKs bigger, but Mag barrels in general seem to run over their stated size, so I'd definatly go smaller. The reccomended Mag barrel size is 11", so I'd go 10, just because if it is a little bigger then it will be more around 11", plus, I like shorter barrels, because they make for a tighter gun placement, and that's more comfortable IMO. Ive got a 12" mag freak I just got. Havent gotten a chance to use it yet, but I wish I went for the 10. this thing is loooong.

my bud got a 10, and a 12. And he was like oh yea ill use the 10 it will bge great. then he played with the 12 and never went back. But if u use a mag and are more prone to breaking paint... a ten is more managable with a break than a 12. The BEST is the 14 inch all american.** Your image was deleted because a huge ass "protection image" comes up. The site hosting that image doesnt allow for other sites to pull from it. The 10" tip ends up 11.5 inches and the 12" tip ends up 13.5 inches. I like the 10 a little better. But the 12 is OK.
I do not know what the AA tips work out to be but the one I have is an inch shorter than the same size tear drop (yes go figure!). If that follows suit then you can adjust for one of those by an inch. And then I would say a 12 inch AA would be a little better than the Tear Drop isd.
