well i went to user cp and checked top posters worked my way trough the list and counted down each page has ten im on the 15th page plus 5 so 155

wow i guess my counting was a little off because i tried counting from the top down on the members page. i got 2663.

well, you may have been right on, and forgot to count the invisible members that have been deleted. The number i pointed out is incrimented for each member and if someone is deleted their number is not reused, so there's a gap in the string.

what i did to find was to go into advanced search under members. go to the bottom and choose to ordes them by join time in assending order and then i chose to have 50 per page so it would be easier to count.
