    I need help fellas!! (long....)

Hey guys, I need ya. Here's the situation:

I had a PF mag with a Benchy 2x frame. I never used it, but everything appeared to move smoothly and the safety worked well. I then bought a DYE 2x frame, which is where the problem is.

So I installed the frame fine (it came with trigger installed already) and got the sear/trigger rod in. Then I was playing with the safety---Uh oh! One side of the safety can go all the way through to the other side, meaning it could easily fall out during a game. The safety simply consists of a tiny metal rod with a few grooves.

So here's my question: Is this the normal DYE safety? If so, what is wrong with it? Why will one side go all the way through and fall out the other? What do I need to do to fix this? If this is not the DYE safety, then what is? And where can I buy it?

Also, I'm not sure if it is a DYE 2x trigger, could that be the problem also? Does the DYE 2x trigger say DYE right on it?

I'm sorry for all these questions, I just can't get the safety to work right. Please help me guys, you always do!

I'm not sure if Dye frames come with safeties, maybe I'm wrong. Yes, a Dye 2X frame says DYE right above your field strip screw.

it's definitely a DYE frame, I just meant trigger. I didn't know if not having a DYE trigger would mess it up. Anyone else!?!?!?

D'oh, stupid me! No, a Dye trigger doesn't have Dye written anywhere on it, the one I have has a little triangle aztec type design on the sides engraved in it. I don't think it matters what trigger you have on it. I still think that Dye doesn't package their frames with safeties, I could be wrong though. If this is the case, there is no such thing as a Dye safety, it would have been somebody's own doing. That's the most I can help otherwise.
