Help me find a better drop forward!

Hiyas, currently Im using a CAM Metal drop forward for my AGD 68/3000 Flatline Tank (its made by a local guy, its basically the original drop included with the flatline, but made to stretch it out and drop it farther forward and down some more). The only problem is that with my micro Emag the drop ends up putting the tank right under the battery and then I can't slide the battery off the tank without taking the whole damn tank and drop off. Its a really cool gun and a killer setup since its so small and tight and nicely balanced, but the whole battery thing is beginning to drive me insane. So can somebody please recommend a drop for the flatline that would drop the tank a good ways, but not quite so far as to block the battery? And please dont say to use the original flatline drop, there's gotta be something else out there! Thank you!

Well if you like the way the setup is now you have a few options rather than change the drop. You can buy one of those drop forward quick disconnects and remove the whole drop with the pull of a pin. Or you can make your battery rail somiliar to those on the SFL and mill away all of the dovetail mount on the frame except for the bottom 3/4 of an inch. I can slide the battery down just a bit and then tilt it off of my gun even though my drop sits right underneath. It'll take about 5 minutes with a dremel.

Thanks again for all your help Load. I had thought about somehow modifying the battery mount like you said, and I might eventually end up doing that. Could you perhaps tell me where I could find a quick disconnect for my drop forward? Are they worth it, any chance of the pin falling out? Thanks again for all the help!
