Opening day pics at Ft. Campbell field

Today was the official start of the season on Ft. Campbell. I took my camera along and reffed. Only got 6 pics because I was kind of busy beetween being shot and checking people. There was a couple good highlights though. We had an alamo game in our new building. 10 players in and within 10 feet of the building and 30 outside trying to get the flag off the back door and hand it to a ref. It was pretty much all tourney ballers inside because they came up with the idea, so we let them pick teams (good idea because if they did get hit it was going to be quite a few times.) Also there was a 12 on 12 speedball game on a 5 man field. It was crazy. Wall or paint and people running at the horn. Some crazy moves to get the flag. It was insane, I should have played. I should have taken my camera for that game but it was an unscheduled game after a few 5 on 5 games. Heres a few pics of the players adn some of the building.

The field is awesome, the managment is awesome, the refs are awesome. Just an all around good field to play at. I didn't get to attend opening day, had a bunch of papers to write (downside of being collge freshman, still have to take core classes), and I had to work too. If anyones ever around the Clarksville area, stop by and play.

Thank the Recreation and Welfare people at Campbell for all of that, they went through a lot of wrangling to get permission just to have the MOUT Range tourney every year. To get a dedicated field on post is fantastic!

nice pics man! We are looking to resurect the field at Osan AB, and thanks for the inspiration about the ammocrates. they are remminisent of the DFP's here in kunsan.

Right now we have A LOT of ammo crates. We are going to put up more buildings. I think one is going to be in the center and hold the flag for centerflag games. Also there might be one in the next woods field thats a castle.

may i ask where u got so many ammo crates and for how much?

Every time guys com in from the field, they ask the owner if she will take the ammo crates. She always does. Sometimes there is the occasional live round is left in one.
