I was there for about 10 minutes... I went just to check it out. Couldn't play because I had to leave at 3am for 4 1/2 hour drive to the MICT tourney. Place looks really nice.

I'm assuming you played? How did you like it? Like I said, I just drove there (got there at 6:30) only to see what the place had to offer... I dug the use of the raquetball courts as the chrono area, and I'm guessing team staging rooms. Couldn't really see the field, because of the netting they used to create the roof of the field. I think I heard someone mention that they will raise that above the windows.

The place looked really nice. Can't wait to actually play there.

I really would have liked to have been there for the grand opening, but decided to try and do something good for the sport (well, maybe just myself) instead. Look in this coming Friday's Milwaukee Journal/Sentinal... maybe Animal remembers which section it's in, but there'll be an article about "boys and their toys". I'm no longer a boy, and a paintball gun sure ain't a toy, but either way, our pictures should be there along with some info about the game. Animal, myself, and a friend who's a semi-regular player were interviewed briefly a week ago, and the pics were taken Friday night at Paintball Dave's. I have no idea what kind of slant the artical will take, but either way, I'll have proof that I have the perfect face for radio and should always be wearing a mask.

Oh yeah, and just to avoid the hate mail I'm sure to get from Milwaukee area AO'ers later on, I didn't have my Warp'ed RT for the pics. My Defiant was cleaner, shinier, and prettier, and I needed something that wouldn't get overshadowed by Animals Tequila fade E-mag! At least it's a Warp'ed Defiant! Let the hate mail commence!!

No, I didnt play. The field looked great. Im kinda glad i diddnt play after the whole JT paint situation. But i was impressed with how things were ran and dealt with. Very structured. Hey Tim, any word on the new paint?

The paint change will be finalized by Tuesday. We are looking at either RPS or Diablo. I am leaning heavily toward RPS.

Friday Night

I was there friday night. Wow what a field!! That place is really gonna rock. The field was set up very nice. Lots of good angles and places to hide. The staff was very accomodating to the players, especially in regards to the JT paint. A few of us did the bounce test on a bag. We broke 5 in a row on the first bounce!! the most we got was 6 bounces from 1 ball. Man that stuff is crap. anyway, they got rid of it and swtiched it out with PMI, so all were happy. The 40+ players there were very satisfied overall, and i didnt hear anything bad.

MPC has changed its schedule slightly, actually quite abit to better serve our customers.

Friday: Friday Night Fighting, Doors open at 5pm, Orientation is at 7pm and the first game starts at 7:15pm. The play will be much faster this week, with more games being played. We will stay open til 1pm if the players want us to.

Saturday: 12pm to 6pm private groups. 7pm to 10pm Open play.

Sunday: 10am to 1pm Young Guns (12-16), 1pm to 4pm Team Practice and 4pm to 7pm Open Play.

We will be going to a full 7 day a week schedule in mid-May.

It is supposedly going to be in the Weekend Cue. If we make front page, it'll be color, otherwise black and white, hence making my beautiful emag a putrid gray->gray fade
