are barrels longer than rated on mags

im thinking of getting a tit. boom stick for my emag, i usually shoot

marbs
allstar
proball

but what i want to know is if i get a 14" boomstick
will it actually be 15 1/2" long ive been searching through the forum and i might have just got confused

my main goal is acc. because its all woods, and no speedball in my area, becasue there are no fields, so its
outlaw paintball.... hehe

would there be an acc. dif in a 14" barrel compared to a 12" and i can get a really good deal on the boom, so dont say get freak for same price, cause for me its not

one reason im asking again is there are so many post doing searches is killing me, i guess thats part of having such of a great forum rock on "AO"

As far as I know, only 'Mag FREAK barrels are longer than theyre actually suppose to be.

Only because they had to add another 1.5" of back to make up the twistlock style breech, so when you add a 12" tip, it turns out to be 13.5" due to the little extra length they needed for the mag breech section.

As for other barrels. all the ones ive seen, compinsate for the breech so theyre as long as theyre suppose to be.
