"We only have minimags"

I seem to post these quite a bit but i was at the field reffing last week. All groups had taken thier lunch breaks and i was just roaming around when i came accross a bunch of mags. Most of them were stock mini's and 2 had warp feeds. Didn't really see if they were retro or anything but anyways, they asked me if they could get a couple of games of speedball just to themselves. The 2 teams that were practicing were just sitting in discussion so i got the field and took them out there. As they passed by, 2 guys asked if they could jump in. The response from them was "Naaa, you guys have angels, we only have stock minimags. Sorry but we just kinda want to keep it to ourselves." I need to get an emag and show these people around these parts what a mag can do. Mags just don't seem to be able to make it around these parts.

its just my opinoin but its bogus that you dont wanna "ruin" your fun by playing with an angel or whatever marker it might be

it may not have anything to do with the threa topic but i thought i would post it

seems to me they arent very nice people if they only want to play with one kind of gun, whats next seperate drinking fountains for angel owners? cocker players have to sit in the back of the chrono area?

I'd be more than happy to let people with angels play against me and my Retro. No need for an E-Mag. Very nice gun but I'm completely confident with my Retro.

lol, we had a bunch of little A wipes at my field sunday. i was reffing and decided to jump in a game. i didnt have my mag so i borrowed a friends PGP. These kids ( loser 12yr's with spyders their mommys bought them) go "Your going out with a pump!" "your gunna get wrecked". I respond "its the player not the gun" They shut up and were like " uhhh ya well i uhh i knew that" but any way by the end of the game i ended up behind them as one of them is yeeling " Whats he doing behind us, How did he get behind us!!!" I was takking pot shots at them with a PT Extreme ( decided to use a fellow refs PT instead of friends PGP)

HA, thats great. I hate those little 10 year old kids, that say the gun makes the player. I am gonna reff saturday at my field and take some pics for AO. Of some of these little 10 year olds with Dye cockers.

Alright this kid shoots a black 98C,with PURPLE sticky grips,and is saying he can beat everyne there.I was reffing and eventually got to the point where I couldn't take it anymore.So then I say "I'll play you"."Sure"he says"Your a ref,so you most not be very good."Hehehehe.I whip out Mr.Mag and go to the starting position. Game starts in 5!.....GOGOGO! PopPop."Player eliminated"!"You got lucky.""Wanna go again"."This time you won't win"GAme starts in 5!GOGOGO!We both make it to our bunkers."player eliminated!"The kid leaves with his head bent over.

im not scared of any damn angels. i took one on w/ my mag w/ co2 & a regular hopper(my uncle wanted to use my revy). i will take on any marker w/ my mag(when i get my barrel(i ordered a lapco, it too 3 weeks, so i cancled my order, im getting a check from them & im going to order a freak system)). oh yea, i bunkerd a little rich kid w/ an angel, it was funny.

Oh, one time I shot... errr... I mean... Uh... I was lucky enough, very near the begining of my paintball "career", ahem:), to have a very positive paintball experience playing with some very talented and experienced players, of course with high end guns, and me with my, then, Spyder Classic. (wow long sentence) They didn't try to intimidate me or anything so now I really have no fear of what guns people are shooting.

Every now and then I see some macho man walk in with his Bushy (no offence to Bushmasters)trying to intimidate the new players with his flashy electro. This isn't the friendly electro player that will share his knowledge and sometimes even his gun. I think these gun premenitions (sp? is that the right word use?) come from bad experiences with high end guns/players as a newbie.

i can remember when i had my adrenalin everyone looked at me liked that, especially when i went to a new field, and one of the kids had a bushy and said that he was thinking about getting an angel, so out of the blue i let him play with my brand new adrenalin
a week later i saw him again with an angel:)
i was kinda happy i convinced him to buy one

anyways, thats my little happy story:)
