my quantity of posts has also really dropped off. no offence to anyone but most posts really do seem to be the same question posted 100 different ways. although i never used to visit the friendly forum, its where i find myself spending most of my time now. i mean how many "are emags really worth the money?" posts can you reply to?

a lot of the people who have high post counts
post a lot of CRAPComment

DryIce: That's very true. Some of us also lived in the Tech forum, until we got sick of answering the same questions over and over. It's quite possible to have an entirely legitimate 1000+ count and not be a mod.2k2 VF Cocker, STO/Eclipse Blade, Old-Style 14" Boomstick,

erm... I guess I post a lot of crap but at least I enjoy posting a lot of crap... It's fun! lol
I don't like posting long posts personally, I try to keep my answers short, simple, and UN-Shartley-ish... lol

I think that the people that only have a few posts, join up as a member to ask a question because their mag doesn't work, and never go on AO again. Probably one of the many reasons for it...Once bread is turned into toast, it can never go back.Comment

Another reason is that a person heard the phrase... "FREE EMAG AT WWW.AUTOMAGS.ORG" or "FREE WARP FEED AT AO" or "GIVING AWAY AN RT PRO TO THE BEST FANTASY EMAG"

I read each and every post on AO besides the angel forum... I don't really have a general interest in angels yet because i'm a newbie!

My guess is that there are a lot of us who read A LOT more threads than we post replies to. Me, I tend not to post unless I have 1.) time and 2.) something I think is important to add. This post is kinda borderline in that regard
Also, a time of 1 month inactive is cutting it close; I could easily see getting very busy or being gone somewhere for a month and not posting and then coming back to AO, its happened to me elsewhere. Maybe 6 months if you want a cut-off for "dead" accounts.Last edited by Cristobal; 04-12-2002, 03:19 PM.Comment

Yes! Leading this thread so far. I hope someone with more doesn't come along.
The thing is, I like to post informative posts and help people out. I just HATE when someone posts something called "My mag won't work..." and some unknown guy posts a reply and says something like "But butter on it, lol". It's so useless and just pisses the guy off that started the thread!!! Please people stop doing that.
Anyways...
Anyone else finding it hard to keep up with all the new forums? God...I find it really hard I would hate to be a mod now!"If everything is under control your not moving fast enough."
