    Down the barrel leak.

I have a question...my air tank has like hardly any air in it at all....when I gas up my RT....air leaks down the barrel.....would this leak be due to the lack off pressure? what else could cause a down the barrel leak?
I also got a new Boomy, and just put it on, but I'm pretty sure a barrel aint gunna cause the leak....heh, man I am out of the tech loop...havent had to troubleshoot in forever.....
    thanks fer the help

#1, this should be in the "tech" forum. the rt does need a certain amount of pressure to gas up, if there is not enough air, it will just leak.

ACUTALLY it will. My friend put a smart parts progressive barrel on his brand new mag. First day using it, it started to leak like a MOTHER FUDGER. He was fed up with it, So I gave him my PMI cermaic barrel to use, he had no problems with it. Then we later figured out what the problem was, his valve was messed up, so we fixed it and his smart parts progressive worked fine. So I suggest you check your valve, make shure their is no problems with it.

Hey, I'm not quite sure what you mean, "check yer valve" any problems in specific? And how did the different barrels bring about leaks, just cuz there was valve...damage(?)
Right now I am thinking its the lack of air...cuz then my gun just sputtered like madd when I tried to gas up, and completly stopped. And it was doing it with the barrel off, so I'll assume (and pray) that my new Boomy isn't the cause of the leak.

Your barrel will have absolutly no effect on the leaking. Its not the problem.

With my retro valve, if I have low psi in my tank it will sputter and leak. If your tank is full, replace your PT o-ring.

I dunno what SlipknotX556 was smoking, but a barrel is not a cause of a leak.

Does it smell like updog in here to you?
