How do you use a night vision goggle PVS-7 over a scot bad *** goggle?

I don't know much about nightvision but I would imagine you would use it UNDER your goggles because I do know that nightvision is expensive, and if it broke by a paintball I would imagine you will be mad. Just a thought.faith;

pvs-7s are too long to fit under any goggle system. You would have to wear them outside and be limited in your field of view.

it is impossible to wear any type on nvgs under your mask. We currently use pvs 14s, which are the monoculars. They have a throwaway saceificial lens that goes over the front lens. Other than the actual lens, the rest of it is pretty well hardened. They designed them knoweing soldiers will bump them ,drop them, hit them on corners, etc. The sacrifial lens probably wont stop a paintball though. My advice; dont use that expensive gear for paintball. Once your eyes adjust to the darkenss, you should be ok.
A little trick...work with 2 guys. One has a flashlight. What you do is this. When you hear someone, flash the light in the general direction. When he starts firing, have your buddy, fire at him. make sure you guys are like 15' apart...night firing is notoriously inaccurate. But, i aHVE used this trick several times...works every time!Comment

what is the point of this thread? 7's cost between 2 and 3 grand and 14's cost 4 grand.....who would honestly use these for paintball?--------------------------------------

The point to this?
Well, its having fun! Able to use and work in darkness. True it is expensive but then again paintball is not the only thing I use for with the night vision.Comment

wouldn't it be cheaper/more feasable to get a night vision scope instead? I've thought about getting that to go into this field where we play "illegal" paintball at night to shoot rats just for the heck of it.
