    fitting sealant

    What do yall recommend to seal the hose connection with? Thanks

    I prefer Teflon tape. I find it cleaner, and easier to work with than Loc-Tite (whether its the blue stuff, the red stuff, whatever color/strength it is). Teflon tape is easier to remove, and/or redo if it won't seal. There's nothing like the satisfaction that comes from giving gas lines a healthy wrap in PTFE tape and hearing no leaks...or maybe I'm just wierd...

      Locktite 545 Hydrolic Line Sealant is the only way to fly. I have mananged to conver almost every one here to using that over tape unless we are in a time pinch and cant wait for the 545 to set up.

          Cool, thx. Already got teflon tape, although could prolly use some more.

          Where abouts can I get my hands on some loc-tite?
