    Need help with bad player!

Ok a friend of mine hides in the back shoots very little and trys to boss us around. He uses the fact that he "Only has a phantom" as an excuse not to shoot or come forward. When at home he has a warp fed bushmaster. He says he stays back to "Snipe". If we get pinned down and call for his help, he respond with " oh i cant move they are all shooting at me!" when no one shooting at him. He wont admit that he stays in back and does absolutly nothing but piss me off. How can i get him to come forward...

If it's a team, kick him off. If you are a rec player, don't take him with you. You can't change a sissy like that.

Skipdogg has an idea and so does Pip. il fart at him ( which will knock him out) and then use him as a human shield!!!!!!!

no we are rec and well we are the 2 people who orginize the games so if we are having a game and i tell someone we are having a game then wordwill get back to the player.

          Any other ideas?

next time you play and get in a firefight, conviently "displace" and leave him by himself. He'll learn quite quickly that the game is a team effort that way. at least, that's what we do to the lame ducks we play with.

                      same problem

If you are just practicing, set it up with the other guys on the other side that you need to teach a lesson in teamwork to one of your players. Convienently get hit in the gun, and let him go on his own 4 or 5 games.

The only other option is to sit his butt down and have a long talk with him about whether or not he has the balls to keep playing or not. I've seen this get out of control, especially in a 3 man tourny. We had to fire a guy from the team, and replace him. Its that simple. You will never become a better player buy having someone slow you down on your own team. Cruel but true.

well the Fork in the eye is a good one.... but i think i will let the other team surround him and sit there in a lawn chair with a nice tropical drink and be like "well id love to help ya but im pinned down here"

EDIT now that i think about it, if i did that he would start to get mad at me. he dosnt think hes staying back. we play mostly woods but he does it in speedball too. he stays in the back and when i confront him about it he says i dont know what im talking about and starts to tell be that im complaining. (which i am but im constructivly complaining) he thinks that 100ft back is "the front line". he trash talks and brags.

if this guy is really giving you that much of a headache, then it's not worth it to continue playing with him on your team. put him on someone else's team and let them complain to him. like martlet said, he'll hold you back. it's hard to improve your own skills when a team member is such a liability.
