    Value of valve. txt

Well, today I received the valve that I bought on EBay. I had a chance to look it over and noticed a few things. One thing is the numbers aren't the same on the valve and body. Also, there are a few things missing on it (The on/off assembly, the spring for the reg pin, and various orings). In the case of the on/off assembly, I knew about that before I bought it. Did I get a good deal for $85 shipped? Despite the things I mentioned, I am reasonably satisfied that I got a decent value. Any other opinions? Thanks in advance for your input.

whatever, if you get it working fine its ok. But you could have bought a totally complete and working valve in the classifieds section here for 90 bucks or so.

To get that AIR valve working you'll need an on/off assembly ($15.00), and reg pin spring ($8.00 for spring and pin), and a parts kit ($20.00 for all the o-rings). Add that to the $85 and you get: $128.00

That seems a little high to me. You could get a perfectly funcional one in the classifides for no more then $100.

            valve

So what's included with the valve? Should $90 include bolt and spring as well?

              Mine did. txt

Mine came with the spring and a foamie bolt. A bolt spring is included in a parts kit, however. Too bad a reg spring doesn't.
