Is Dye titanium worth the money?

Anyone who has the dye titanium please tell me if it is worth spending $150 on it.

I have a regular boomy, and I would recommend it, with reservations. The titanium is the same thing, cept lighter. The boomstick is definetly an awesome barrel, however I would opt to buy a lapco or something along those lines of under 100 and buy a couple of barrels for the price of one boomy, or just spend 50 more and get a freak set. Just make sure ur careful with the freak.

And a side note, for everyone who hates cleaning their freak barrel..You can special order an all-american front if you want, instead of having to clean out the tear-drop ports you get nice easy simple ports, may not look as cool, but it's a world easier to clean.

Just buy a used Boomy or Titanium Boomy....thats what I did. Sold my DYE SS for 52 (I bought it for 15!) and bought a Boomy for 70.

If you're going to go with something new, I'd either spend a little more and get a freak or get three different bore size CP barrels for the same price or a little less.

have you or anyone else given any thought to the adjustable internal diamiter barrels like the aradus or i believe the slayer is one as well. from 888paintball it goes for around 120-130 i believe and the bore is a twist to to change it. i've never used one but it seemd like a cool, cheaper alternative to the freak system.

let me tell you something about dye, they work good, look good, but they are way overpriced. spend a little more on a freak, or a little less on a j&j ceramic

the TI is the best shooting barrel i own. I have a cp set, a boomstick, a Ti boomstick, a 14 inch dye aluminum, a long shot and a few custom made barrels by me :-). The ti is the best shooting barrel with a good paint to barrel match, and concidentally most all my paint pits 688 well. I got mine for 60 bucks i doubt u will find a deal like that, but look for them used. id rather own one than a freak set or a cp set. Not to say i dont like the cp set, but i use it for bores that are too big or to small for my TI. If i can i use the ti. Ive acutally never NEEDED to use any other barrel, i only did to try em out. It shoots as good if not better than anything else. the boomstick is compareable, but heavier, and i am more acuate with a lighter barrel when im snap shooting. Standing still it shoots the same as a boomstick

no barrel/barrel set is worth 200. But if u can get it used for 120 or less then go for it.

The Ultralite is actually lighter, 1/2 the price and shoot just as well.

or simply get the boomer
