Another 1st Place victory for Throttle!!
We took 1st place this weekend in the first Polar Bear Tournament at Diehard Paintball. The Polar Bear Series is the largest tourny circuit in Minnesota. It consists of 5 seperate events(much like the NPPL's with same rules) at different local fields. 56 teams from the midwest competed in this event. This was Team Throttle's first Polar Bear tourny played in the Advanced/Amature division, which is the highest level that you can compete at.
The weather was horrible today with about 34 degrees and snow all day long. Yesterday was bright and sunny and warm. When you look at the photo's from both days, appears 1 tourny was played in June and the other in December!!
My Sfl worked great....I had a couple barrel breaks on the last game of the day today. A tip to cold weather tourny players: Keep your paint in a heated car throughout the day, and it will save you many a headache!!
Check Out mnpig.com in the next few days to see standings and photos.
It was a great event and want to say thanks to all the players and I even bumped into Memnock(from AO) who was playing for the Wizards II. Good job this weekend bro!!
Want to send out props to Diehard paintball and Team Cypress for putting on the smoothest event in Polar Bear history.
