    RT or cocker?

If you had a choice of either an E-mag with a 47ci tank and 12 volt revolution loader or a 2001 autococker(vertical feed) with a 47ci tank and 12 volt revolution both at reasonal prices...what would you get?

E-mag hands down, but is this fair? The price diff. is quite a bit.

Yeah... I mean, would you take a Bushmaster 2000 over a Stringray? I'd take the E-Mag, it's just a superior 'gun, and unless you have countless hours to spend fine tuning your gun just to have stock Automag quality, it's the perfect choice.

              E-mag

Well i would wait and go with the E-mag if you don't have the cash now. E-mag ios WAY better my friend.

I would get an emag. they are way more reliable. When i had my cocker i could hardly ever play good with it. never get use to the trigger the timing would slowly creep off and then it would just stop.

I've seen E-Mags advertised for less than $1000 so the price difference isn't as bad as people think. A lot depends on what you're looking for in a high-end marker. If you want something to shoot out of the box, something you're don't won't to spend a lot of money to upgrade, and something that's easy to maintain and reliable then go with the E-Mag.

If you want a marker that you can tinker with, has an infinite upgrade path and is also reliable then go with the cocker.

So it really depends on what you want. I don't think you'd be disappointed with either choice. But if you are short on cash, I'd try to scrap up enough to get the E-mag. That way when you buy it, you're no pouring more cash into the marker to upgrade it to the point where you really want it.

You CAN buy an E-mag off of Ebay for less than $800 used, in great condition. I bought mine for $700 with 6000 shots on it, so you should be able to get a similarly good deal.

But if you HAD to choose between the two, the Cocker is a nice gun too, if you like the way they shoot. They just never had the right "feel" for me, but others love them. Plus a new 2001 Cocker should be about $400, and pretty reliable. You could run it on CO2 temporarily, but you can't do that with the E-Mag.
