Well I was suppose to go but things look grim. My dad lost his job and there is no way I can afford plane tickets, paint, and the entrance fee. Hopefully he will get a new job soon. At this point i am seriously considering selling a a couple of 'cockers to cover the paint and registration.

Oh yeah, we are NOT PULLING GAURD DUTY AGAIN!!! That really sucked! Well it did until the Traccerballs came out, then it was kinda kewl.

Don't know what SNY is.....Thordic and I were at Replicant Run, the 48 hour game last year. The second night we pulled gaurd duty for "Mud Guts" and someone was using Traccer Balls. It was really cool to watch. That was the only time I've gotten a real sense of how many balls per second one can shoot.

I just registered, so count me in! I'm trying to get a couple friends to come along. It'll be my first scenario game

I've got plane tickets reserved, but Still not positive if I'll be there. It's either Shatnerball, or Box-seats (free food, drinks, etc.) at the UT(University of Tennessee)-Whyoming game @ Adelphia ('tis where the Titans play). I get tickets to all the home games & some away free, so I'm not worried about missing the game or anything, it'd just be cool to be in the box, ya know?

Oh! If I attend, it will also be my first Scenario game! Anyone got any hints??

#2: Get into Charecter! YES! IT's Silly! But you have a ton more fun that way.

Well we have over 30 people here and some of them are bringing friends, so we should get the 50.

I think in july we should start another thread...stating who is going, who is travelling w/who, etc. About a month out or so...that way, we will all be on the same sheet of music.

A "Post Whore" is someone who posts... a lot. usually with little or no real content to add... there is only one of these "Post Whores" that i notice that bugs me... and I don't think hes hit this thread yet. :)

A Scenario game is a game based on a story, where different players get different roles (like a Role-Playing game). there is a story line, and the players act out the roles on the field trying to win the game.

So, in this case, I am guessing that the Borg team will be trying to assimilate the other teams, or just destroy them. the klingons will be running amok... and the Federation will be hoping that their gear works as they hide in their tents as the Borg move in to conquer!

Alrighty! Thanks for the explainations. Little or no content, I guess that would be me since I only have a few posts that have anything to do with paintball.

BTW, the Federation doesn't hide! We are there to conquer and destroy! Make sure your shoe laces are tied tight, wouldn't want you to fall down when you're running away.LOL
