Has anyone had any problems with the Ricochet body?

A friend of mine has used his Ricochet for two weekends and claims he has not abused it, but, there are at least 6 stress cracks in the body. (?)

Has there been other reports about this?

.............. I don't know. I think I heard something about it being one of the Gem series. (?)

Sorry this is the first one to show up at our field.

The earlier gem series had problems with cracking. Call Ricochet up and they will send you a new body. Personally though, I would just stick with the black, it is tougher than the gem series for some reason. My replacement blue body cracked after one hit. While my black richochet was going strong after a couple of months of good play.

I like mine a lot. I've never had any problems with it. The neck is a little small, but duct tape fixed it.
                I have no Sig.

Yes the bodies get stress cracks if they were from the first batch, the new batches are supposed to be fixed. I have gone threw 6 sets of shells and my teamates have had the same problems.

Also the blacks ones from the first set with out the ripped neck also had some cracks but you can only see them on the inside. I would call ricochet and get new ones they are more then helpful. They sent me a free one for my troubles.
