    Interesting 2000 year cocker review

I realy liked the writers style and review on this. Seems things internaly have not changed too much from then to the now 2002 models to me? Colors and such maybe but....

    Comments?

article is full of inaccuracies (won't say it's incorrect) and relativities.

the only thing that's changed with the new model and the redesign back in 2k is the options.

Well at least he tested the thing in a somewhat scientific method and seemed honest about it.

      What options specificaly?

Well, the 2k2's have a new bolt, new 3-Way and different gripframe (STO). I'm not sure whether the stock barrel changed in 2000 or 2001.

I am not impressed by pbstars reviews, his test methodology appears fairly scientific, but is incredibly inconsistent between reviews (He neither standardises on a barrel nor matches barrels to paint, so his data is very suspect. Ditto for air systems). Read his mag review for a good laugh, the background is very badly researched, and then compare the barrel he uses in that(SP Progressive) to what he uses in his other high-end semi reviews (Boomstick et al.).

While his reviews aren't the whitewash of APG, neither are they very enlightening, unlike PGI's (My reviews of choice, Ravi is very hard on guns.)

Good points. So he sounds and seems honest and refreshingly open but he may not be very diligent in the technical aspects of the testing as you say.

And thanks for the updates. And I do not believe the barrel changed from 200o to 2002 what I could see.

IIRC they change the barrel late 2000, when they changed the shroud. I can't remember if they started calling them 2K1 models then though. Early 2000's had the same barrel as a stock 99.

That might just be it. I saw a 2001 and a 2002 and they looked the same barrel but cannot tell you at what point the 2001 was made. I can tell you they both were unported short and VERY loud.
