what would be a good vertical regulator to set the output pressure of my tank to about 750psi? i was looking for a regulator around $100 or under. i was thinking about an ANS Gen X regulator, Palmer, or smart parts reg... which one would be the best, second, and last?

If you already have a reg on your tank do not add a third reg. One reg will starve another reg, creating massive shootdown. Do not forget that there is already a reg in the ReTro and AIR valves. Best option is to get an adjustable tank rather than a preset.

i got my mag not too long ago and still dont know what all it can do, right now i have the stock valve on it, does that regulate the pressure and if it doesnt, is 850psi too much pressure to be running to my gun?

It is absolutely fine on 850 psi. The internal reg in the gun will take the pressure down to 400 psi or so. Dont worry about it.
