A friend of mine finally ordered a Retro valve for his automag this spring. He had it out to our local field this weekend. I tried it out and all I can say is wow, what a difference in feel. I can't believe how much lighter the trigger feels. I don't know if it is lighter, but it sure feels lighter. It made up my mind for me. Mine's on order as we speak, and I didn't have the money to spend, but I couldn't be without it.
Retro valves rock.

Have you tried the AGD's Intelli 45?
The reason I ask is because I've ran my Retro Valve with 3 other grip frames and for whatever reason I could not feel the RT trigger bounce, that is until I installed the AGD's 45. The Rt valve and the Intelli is a awesome combo! .............. & how about that Warp!!

Maybe it was an illusion, but it felt shorter and lighter.
Based on the specs, I didn't think there would be that much difference in the pull, just a reactive trigger return and quicker recharge.
We didn't experience a high amount of reactivity, but we only had an ACI fixed output tank to use. Its supposed to be around 850psi but it may be slightly less. Until either of us can afford a good variable output tank, we're gonna try some slightly shorter lengths of on/off pins to see if we can increase the reactivity a bit.Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.Comment
