I am thinking of black to deep purple, or black to deep red... OR going with a color changing job... black-purple or black-red.

Also if I were to get a custom paint job on my marker, will that make my warrenty invalid, or agd techs unwilling to still work on it, if it ever broke down?

Easiest and cheapest is powder-coating. KPCustoms and RedRider are two that do paint jobs to your specs, and have built a solid reputation for quality. They can be contacted on these boards.

Yes. Paint jobs are fine if done correctly and you don't abuse your marker.. most don't do standard paint jobs correctly and they end up cracking in a year or so.. but they don't if done CORRECTLY. You also have to take care of them.

Powder coating IS a paint job. It is just a different application process.

Then you have anodizing, which is another process and involves a chemicle and electric process (yes, I simplified it.. LOL).

And there are some on here who have used reflective tape/stickers to decorate their markers.

So, it is all up to the individual. You see a lot of different things.
