AT Systems?

OK, here's the deal, a member of my team is looking at new
markers. He has been looking at Markers from A.T. Systems.
I have been unable to find information about them anywhere
but their sight.

Of course, people who spent 1300 + $ on a marker are
unlikely to admit if they blew their money. So, has anyone
here seen, tested, or played with one of these markers? if
so, what did you think? Are they worth the money?

Try to avoid the temptation to tell him to spend the money
on an E-Mag instead. The goals here are accuracy,
reliability, and realism.

they are very well built guns and accurate but not very practical for tourny play these guns would be good for scenrio but i think there too big for tourny play if u want accuracy get a good cocker if u want consistancy and speed get a mag thats all i got to say

i agree with transman, if you guyys are on a team the mag or other gun would be better. 85 balls a clip good god he'd be putting new clips in every min or so. But it looks REALLY kewl. I would say an excelent scenerio game marker but thats about it.

The one thing I have always wondered was if AGD got the idea for a side mounted loading system from ATS.

ATS guns are cool, but require frequent (every 500 shots or so) TLC and cleaning.

you basically HAVE to run a max-flow HPA on it, since they demand consistant air-flow.

you can get an adapter clip that lets you attach a revvy to the clip, and the foregrip holds 80 rounds or so as well.

they are FA or semi, but i'm not sure if there is a tourney lock. and they are a little big. One thing though, is that they are plastic, and VERY lightweight.

cool guns, but much better suited to scenario play.

Thanks. He's got a Tippmann Pro Carbine right now, and
does very well with it. The AT guns being plastic and labor
intensive should turn him off to them.

I have an AT85. It's not mine, but a friend's who went to basic training last year and left it with me to sell. It's pretty loud. It has the hopper adapter clip and feeds pretty reliably. If you jam, there is a process where you drop the clip(not all the way out) hit a "recharge" button, slam the clip back in and off you go. It was kind of difficult at first, but once you get the process down, it's second nature.

I agree, not a tourny marker, but it would be and AWESOME senario marker.
