i cant say i ever threw my gun but i did mke a scene at a rec game. a kid (im not holding that against him) was in a position behind me and blind shooting. i took one square in the back of the head 10 seconds into the game from about 6 feet away. i then called hit and stood there long enough too let him know how pissed i was. my friend dave (my voice of reason)told me too get over it. im over it but i never said i was sorry too the kid and im going too regret this for a long time. for making a complete sausage out of myself in front of some very important people. ie my friends that included the ref and my team mates.

HUmm nothing really happened with it as it was "team" guys playing, we dont get real refs we have to ref our selves.

Let just say, that If I had gotten my hands on the guy, I would likly still be in jail for assult. So I didn't bother.

At alot of the tourneys like that there's ALOT of waste. Gun throwing is just the starting....... i've talked to guys who go dumpster diving at them and get whole cases of paint with maybe 1 ball broken in 1 of the 500rd bag ( 4 bags per case ). Same guy told me he went diving and found a f5 with a lil pneumie problem too

            Well...

Since I mainly go to college tournaments, it's definitely been a while - throwing a marker at a college event will land you a one year suspension. Not just because of the sportsmanship implications, but you're really creating a safety hazard when carelessly tossing around a tank holding gas at 4500 PSI.

I have seen it at amatuer events, not much you can do about it then beyond shaking your head is disapproval.

Ha! I remember that one. I still maintain that you're the only one I know who needs to smoke weed before playing just to calm you down! Hope the ankle is feeling better, and good to see you on AO!

I've only really even come close to throwing my marker once:

One time I was playing woods with 2 other friends (one with a cocker, other with a mag) and we took a back trail to sneak around. They left one guy with a rental pro lite back in the woods to gaurd the trail. I ran out behind a tree because I thought they would have left him further up but sure enough he was to the right of me about 10 feet away(if any of you play woods you know that it is hard to see into woods, but easy to see out of woods) in the woods and hit me a good 6 times (that I could count) in the side/hand (two hit me in the same place on my hip and immediately I had a blood blister completely rose red the size of a quarter.) After the first one hit I thre my hands in the air and yelled "HIT HIT HIT!" but the little newbie kept on shooting. Right after then I just dropped my gun to the sand and yelled every obscenity I knew practically but I managed to control not picking the gun back up and beating him over the head 8 times with it. I walked back down the trail my teammates were and told automag guy to shoot him from 2 feet away (blah blah dead men don't talk, I know. It was a mutter and I was PO'd :)) So he did and I was a little relieved when the kid walked into the deadbox with two marks on his back and his face red with his eyes full of tears. I'm sorry but there's no excuse for overshooting someone like that, he probably just did it to tell his little 4th grade buddies at school too >

To answer your question (sorry I got carried away with my story):

Yes I saw a guy trying to go up and bunker someone with his angel but he got shot out by the guy he was attempting to bunker and threw his angel into the deadbox.
