Speedball the movie??

Have you guys seen the "Speedball:The Movie" website. It is located at

It sounds kinda gay. More hollywood than hardcore. They said they are going to make it non hollywoodized, and they have already turned down producers that wanted to majorly hollywoodize it, but still....check it out for your self.

I saw the website like 2 years ago, lo.... The movie is obviously not going anywhere.... Maybe i'll go down to the field one day wiht a camcorder and just be an independant party on the field and film some action.... Then interview some players, film some gear, etc.... Nothing fancy, but a nice 2-3 hours of paintbally goodness for rainy days :)

this movie will never get made..i mean...if it takes you two years to even get someone to give you money to make a movie you need to give it up unless they want to give it a Kevin Smith-like commitment (he put up 10 grand of his own money to get Clerks made...and got millions off the licensing when the movie became a smash hit)

Worse than those '80s breakdancing movies.

Of course, if it DOES get made, I'll have to watch it (can you say "straight to video"?) just so that I can make fun of it.

Trust me, you do NOT want to watch the trailers. I could make a better movie with a Hi8 Camera and 10 bucks. No offense to the guys trying to make the movie, but the trailers are horrible.

the trailor isn't acutally from the real movie. They are mock actors.

And it hasn't been 2 years yet cuz i've been playing for about 2 years. I think it's been about one year, maybe a little bit more.
