    My Frankenmini Project! *Pics*

Ok. Thanks in part to TheBigRagu for the trade, and AGD for letting me win a warp to trade, and the "Blemished" minimag bodies, I present to you...

    The Frankenmini!

So far nothing on this has been together except the valve and rail. I'm piecing it together as I go. I have a clear warp and a flatline to mount on it, but I'm currently screwless.

Here it is as it stands currently!

Here's a closeup of the barrel. It's a J&J Edge Kit with a 12 inch tip. I like that the backs don't stick out of the mini body at all. It looks really neat just seeing the black tip, and the aluminum back through the slots in the body.

More pics in various stages of completion when I decide to get over to the harware store!

That looks very similar to how my Franken-Mini is turning out. The only differences that I can see is I have a J&J ceramic, black site rail, and SP wood grips on mine.

          Almost there....

I need a longer stainless hose, and I need to connect my warp hose. Maybe drill through that revvy shell.

          The blue batteries look funny....

I fell in love with the NW disconnect block as soon as I put it on!

I could probably get it tighter, but I like this setup.

I'm thinking I'm going to get a 8xAA harness from Radio Shack to run 12 volts on the warp instead of a 9 volt battery. I can put the harness into the tank cover I have.

Has anyone tried this at all?

If you need some screws let me know, I've got a whole bunch. Seeing as how I've got your 90 degree adaptor, it's the least I could do.

Heh someone took a hopper shot (or 2)

One more thing I'd suggest ... if a local shop sells evil paddles for your revvy, definitely get one. They're essentially just paddles with 6-8 arms instead of 4. You'd be surprised at the difference. My friend runs one in his revvy and it feeds a lot quicker.

I've got all the screws I need, I just need a washer for my front grip frame screw. I was going to root around for a replacement, but you wouldn't happen to have one would you?

A washer? did you get a screw that was too long? I'm sure there's something kicking around my garage. I've got about 10 coffee cans full of nuts, bolts, washers, and who knows what else. What size do you need?

I have no clue. I'll probably look for one at the ACE down the street. THe front Grip Screw is 3/4inch long, but it needs a small washer. Your mini might have one if you think you might have an extra floating around.

It's fairly thin, but I can't find an exact thickness anywhere...

I've never needed one on my mini or my regular mag. Maybe you've got the wrong size screw. If I get a chance I'll take a measurement of the screws I've got, see if I've got any extras, or look for a washer.

Hmm... everyone says I need one, and my RTPro had one...

it's just a small washer so you can tighten the screw all the way without it digging into the barrel.

On a side note, how was that canadian field?

It wasn't too bad. Not as big as futureball or hells. But it was wicked muddy. It's not far off the bridge, if we hadn't got lost on the way. Didn't get a chance to try out the warped timmy. My selenoid is leaking, so I had to use the mini, no warpfeed because I forgot the extended powerfeed plug.
