Intellifeed for a single trigger frame

A little picture essay on how I interfaced my warp to my stock trigger frame and SP wood grips... Also I want to see how well my video camera can take stills.

First I bent a short piece of 3/32 copper tubing into this shape And made the spacing between the posts match the holes in the switch I got at Radio Shack.

The tubing can be found in most hobby store, or My local ACE hardware, cost about $.50

In the picture above, it's already glued to the SP wood grips. But it doesn't start out that way of course.

Next the Radio shack swicth is placed onthe copper tubing and placed behind the trigger and fitting in place.

Marker is used to mark where the tubing get glued. Also a hole is cut in the frame to hold a 1/8" plug. A hole is drilled all the way thru the grip and a brass plate is what the 1/8 mono plug is attached to. the brass plate is glued to the Grips... as show in the next picture

The whole assembly without the frame in place.

Another grove has to be cut in the frame to allow the wire to run from the switch to the Plug.

I've picked the the left side to put my plug and switch on, because I'm right handed and the lower left side doesn't get covered with my hand. So the plug can come out without interferring.

This pciture shows the whole system assembled, and short 1/8" to 1/8" jumper connects the Warp to the grip.

I choose to intelify to stock frame because I don't really like double trigger.

Yes, this picture is a bit dark. Sorry.

So that's how for about 5 bucks you can intellify any trigger frame.

Sure, the same thing can be done to any frame.

The placement of the switch is the same for everything, my picture doesn't show it as well as I'd like, but the important thing is the placement of the switch.

It's a great help to have the lever swtich because you can bend it to make the tiny adjustments.

Been there, done that, but not with as much effort.
I just dremeled out my frame and stuck a switch in it so it would stay with the grips on. Then, I diddnt use the switch. The wire is just coming out of the grips.

I like the old Rosewood grips I have. They are beautiful, too bad they are single trigger.
