AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Does anyone here..................................
oh on a side note someone else at my field was using co2 on his mag (co2 was under trigger and ran straight to the gun from) his mag would not work at all it had all kind of problems
Ok, well the only place to get n2 fills is my field and its like hour to hour and a half away....and if i do go, then i cant practice/shoot around @ home and get a little better, so im going to have to use co2......
So ill take off the gas-thru on the TKO POWERFEED MAG that im getting, and add a xchamber or a palmer stabilizer(which should i? xchamber or palmer?)
and i guess the tko mag comes with a vertical adapter...
My questions:
Does the gas-thru just unscrew?
IF i hooked a male palmer stabilizer to the vertical adapter, would it be just like the gas-thru stock....i run a macroline to the bottom of the stabilizer, and it goes out the top at the vertical adapter or would i have to do a bunch of adjustments?(same question if i were to install an xchamber)
Ofcourse i would get an ansti-siphoned co2 as well, if i had the palmer stabilizer and an anti-siphoned co2, would my gun be consistant?
If you havent seen a palmer stabilizer there pretty much the best CO2 tolarant reg available... www.palmer-pursuit.com < go there and click stabilizers
Your Classic should have a screw through the body rail that is holding the gas-through. Remove the valve, then body, the screw should be visible now.
A Palmers Stabilizer is an excellent alternative to an expando. The Stab is designed to help keep out liquid, and does a very good job of it. That and an anti-syphon should do you OK.
I run on CO2 and my gun runs like a charm. It has none of the problems some people associate with CO2. But it could be that I have the minimag with a Palmer Stabilizer in the vertical mount. It blocks ALL the liquid so even when I shoot 15 round bursts my mag valve/reg hasn't even begun to get cool. (It stays the same temp all the time)

Honestly, I run less of a fancy setup on CO2 than most of you do, and I've only once had a freeze-up because I stupidly pointed the gun towards the ground and emptied over half a 12 oz in one dry firing. All I have is a 6 stage expansion chamber and a slightly as in about 5 degrees angled bottomline and a 20 oz and 12. Oh and one another time it was about 10 degrees out and I dropped a few drops of oil in the gun on the field and gassed up with co2, bolt stuck and leaked so I changed to what little nitro I had left and later changed back to co2 and shot about 250 rounds the rest of the day, my only problem was I had about half the gas efficiency I normally get. 2 weeks later in about 30 degree weather I shot around 300 with 2 breaks, 1 of them down the barrel. I only shoot nitro at fields that can fill it, I only get maybe 400 shots out of it, but hopefully can get a better tank this summer.
