why sliding into a bunker head first is bad and a warp is good =)

as the title sayes.... slidin into a bunker or in my case playin indoor with just a carpet on the floor that is paint soaked from the dayz play and slipping on it for the not so grasious slide into the 50.......

anyway on my ill fated fall my hopper pops out of my warp...( it was a good fall... landed flat on my chest... right hand marker left hand reach for a pod, running for the 50 and slipping on a slippery floor)

well there is my hopper lying out in the open and they shoot my hopper.... well cant get that now unless i wanna be out.... so i sit there in my bunker pod in hand priming and fillin the warp and poppin off 5 rd strings..... did this for about 50-60 ballz gettin 1 eleim and tauntin the other team untill they got me finally.... there were 3 differnt points i would pop out of randomly and one of there guyz posted on one and got me....

after the game i could hear a few people sayin they needed a warp... and also got a few pats on the back from the other team for the effort i put into it.... esp for just a rec game

welp time to find a way of keepin the hopper on the warp short of gluing it on.... =)

I think you can get a hopper spacer, or just use ducttape

Drill that hopper. The hose will hold it on.:)

I glued a small peice of sandpaper on the inside tube of my warp where the hopper sits. It holds it pretty tight when it's all clamped down and it does'nt spin anymore.

Load, wouldnt the sandpaper just wear down the revvy neck which would make it smaller and making it looser?

Only, if it moves around a lot. As I said it all sits tight when the warp halves are screwed together and the grit from the sandpaper keeps the revy from spinning. I guess if you grabbed the revy and twisted back and forth really hard 40-50 times you could sand the feed neck down. Just don't do that.

Hmm theres gotta be a way to put some kind of pin in w/o disrupting ball flow

Gluing sand paper sounds interesting. For connections I've used regular Scotch Magic tape and/or electrical tape on the inside to allow for a snug fit. Only drawback is if you constantly apply/remove the connection the tape may come off.

yah, but it would eventually wear down from putting it in and taking it out but it would help for a while.

Sure it'll wear if you wiggle it down in there with the warp screwed together tight. But if you unscrew the halves a bit, the revy neck slips right in and then you tighten the whole mess down.

Another route as mentioned earlier, is drilling the Hopper, I have Two warps and both revys are drilled. They will not fall off.

If this does not appeal to you, buy an inexpensive tube of silicone and put a small bead in the warp neck. It will hold it tight, and there won't be the concern of additional wear on the revy.

                        Good luck!!!

I am a master at diving into bunkers head first. I have had many experinces that led to bad things while doing this. First one was when I dived into the snake and landed on a person on the opposite team and me and him fired at eachother barrel to barrel. Next one was when I dove into like a V shaped bunker and my harness broke and flew off of me, after that I had to get a new harness, thats how I met REDZY!! Then Redzy was taking from me without me knowing, thats how I met REDZY JR!!! Now I have redzy JR to watch over and take care of.

I did that for a while but it gets hot in Alabama. The electrical tape got soft and gooey, the hopper started to spin and pull out and I kept having to jam the thing back in mid-game. It eventually cost me a game because the electrical tape slid down underneath the hopper neck and stopped balls from feeding.

I just threw a suggestion out there that has worked for me for a while. Use it or not, makes no difference to me.
