put it this way my cousin got royal blue rit dye and his warp came out royal blue. i will try to get a good pic of it to show yuo how rit dye does not lie. lol < rhyme.

Hopper
Mine was a pre-BE 18v shredder original, so they are no longer in production.
But I have also seen excellent results with using RIT dye on clear shells like speedballbanks stated. Just start out light and darken it slowly.
Or check this link for someone who will do custom revy shells for you...

Id say stay with the black/purple. If you decide to go with the chrome, id try selling the body, and actually buy a chrome body, looks much nicer in the long run IMO.Comment

Russkix, the hopper in your pic is NOT a Shredder. The Shredder was just an upgrade, an added battery compartment, a new sensor, and a extra battery lead for the 18v conversion. Your battery compartment shows that the hopper in the pic is not a shredder, your batteries are together in the hopper, whereas, the original Shredders were VL2000 the purple is solid not transparent, if you managed to dye a clear one in would be "cloudy" in appearance. Take a look at my sig, that IS a shredder. You are welcome to prove me wrong of course.
