    Dimple in Paintball?

Hello, I ordered a case of JT Maxim paintballs from paintballgear.com

I checked the balls and everything look good even shot a few in the back yard. But this morning I noticed 1 dimple in basicly every ball in the 500 round bags. Is this normal, did JT do this to improve there paint?

    -thanks in advance

I bought a box of Magenta Marbalizer last week every one
of the balls had a dimple. the stuff went just as straight
as any other paint that I have used.

I wouldn't throw them away or anything. While new paint should be prefectly round, one small dimple shouldn't be too bad. If you were playing in a Tournament where money and prizes were on the line you might want to have them replaced but for rec play they'll be fine.

Just shake the bags up so the balls get rotated around a bit in the bag and the dimples will be gone by the next day.

Oh yeah, I meant to ask, what is the splatter ratio on those things? I saw an ad in APG and it was like a foot wide in diameter (not literally ... they showed it hitting a mask and there was just tons of paint loaded in there.)

I posted a thread about it somewhere .. "JT's Solution to Wipers?"

Sorry, did paintballsucka say he was feeling his balls..... ? I've used dimpled paintballs and haven't had any probs. Aslong as they're going straight and paint what your aiming at, WHO CARES?

I had that happen one time with a shipment - I jostled them a bit and all the dimples were gone the next day.
