    Why Cocker Threads on Extreme?!?!?!

Autococker threads are great on an Autococker because if you break a ball, you just have to take out the bolt and squeegee staight through the whole breech without having to remove the barrel. With the Extreme, however, if you break a ball you're screwed because you can't squeegee straight through the breech like you can on an Autococker. You would have to take the barrel off which would take a long time since the Extreme has Cocker threads, then squeegee the barrel, and then screw the barrel back in. That takes too long. Cocker threads on a Mag is a bad idea!

Easy answer. Its because of the interchangeable feed breeches. You can have vert feed, warp feed, ect.

Not totally so personman. SFL's have Cocker threads due to them believing threaded barrels, meaning ones you screw in, tend to vibrate less and allow for better accuracy (read in Ad). So I'm guessing they're taking the same stance with the Extremes. Another factor is Autococker threaded barrels are readily available and easier to find, and many people already have them.

Have you never seen a stick squeegee? You know the ones where you push in the end and the little squeegee on the other tilts so you can put it down a barrel. Much easier to use that a jerk in the middle of a game if you ask me, but then again I don't use one anyways I just shoot through the mess and hope I hit something.

I think this was already asked, and the answer is:
          1.)Unscrew barrel a tiny bit
          2.)Take off interechangeble breeches
          3.)run a squeege thru
          4.)put it back on

But yes I read this also. The breech opens like the angel and allows for you to run a jerk squeege.

IMO- Since the breech is made like the inside of a barrel a twist-lock wouldn't work since you won't be able to get the "snug fit" of low pitch threading on cocker barrels, they allow you to butt the barrel right up to the edge of the breech. Keeping you from losing gas that should be reserved for propelling the ball.

The reason the barrel has cocker threads is because that is the most popular. Period. There are plenty of reasons to use something else, but that is what more people want than anything else.

Personally, threaded barrels are a pain in the ***. With the Mag, it's that sweet quarter turn and then pull out the barrel. I would LOVE to see a cocker that took mag barrels.

most tourney players use a straight shot and never take a bolt out during the game. Even how quick the mag barrel comes off it still takes too long. Straight shots and battle swabs are the way to go. And I rarely broke a ball in my regular mag in a tourney, the only reason I did was tilting the gun a lil too far over, hehe. Just gotta keep your gun in good workin order.
