***AGD Pride takes 5th at patriot 3-man***
another weekend, another tournament.
timmy, toddy, and myself (skirts) played the patriot paintball 3-man tourney today(sunday).
we played well, only lost two of the 8 games we played and just barely missed the cut by 15 points. the games were 100 point games, 5 minutes each, centerflag. timmy was using his warp set up and toddy and i were playing with our vertical feed emags. the guns shot awsome (like always)... one comment mad by toddy after the day was "its so nice not having to worry if my gun is going to chop paint, i can focus on the game".
the teams in our division were:
MSN
Psycho Circus
Bad to the Bone
Division
Chubby Chubkins (two farside kids and one guy from farside)
AGD Pride
and two others... (i cant remember)
we beat everyteam we played except the farside team...
we lost to divison the first game and played them again later and won (fast)
sorry but there are no pics, we apologize but we didnt bring the digital camera with us.
highlights:
timmy comes down to a one on one with a guy and runs down the tape line to the fifty... he hit the bunker so hard that the stakes came out and turned the whole bunker sideways... timmy then came over the top with his warp and stitched the guy up.
toddy got the first flagpull 7 of the 8 games we played. one game he made a move up field on a guy that was posting on him and the guy couldnt hit him because he was so quick.
i was playing back center... (im still trying to figure it out) but had a fun time. one game i went to move up and tripped flat on my face over a cord that was holding a bunker up... after i face planted, i got up and ran from our back center all the way down the field and bunkered the last guy on the other team.
we were hanging out with the AGD lions who had a better day than us, taking 3rd place and winning three new freak barrel sets... congrats boys.
on that note, we actually had more points than them in the prelims but the top two teams from each division advanced... we took third in our division but fourth over all in the prelims.
we beat psycho circus again but they had 15 more points in the prelims so they moved on and we went home.
all in all, it was a great day, and we had a great time... thanks to all the AOers that showed up, you guys rock.
