    Hyperframe

I just tried to order Hyperframe from Predator Paintball, becuase they seem to have the lowest price. BUT for some unknown reason, not stated on their website at all, they no longer carry the Hyperframe. This is something they neglect to mention anywhere in the ordering process. This has to be some sort of bait and switch technique to try and get Automag owner's to buy some of their other products. I then tried to call their long-distance, non-800, phone number. I get some message about the store being open Mon-Fri 3-10 CST, (I called at about 4). I know that I will never order from them, and I don't recommend it for anyone else. They may have low prices, but with this kind of customer support, they shouldn't last long. Also I suggest dropping Oh Pawlak as an AGD sponsered player.

Well, since that fell through I am wondering if anyone has any other suggestions on GOOD places to get a Hyperframe for (hopefully) $250 or less.

I don't know man. I bought mine from Centerflag directly, and it was $500. The reason for this was mine was going on an RT, so there was some additional modifications that had to be made to get it fitted on properly. The Automag version is cheaper, I think around $350-$400 from them I believe. I'm not sure if there are middle men selling it cheaper than that, but it would seem a little shady to me. Anyway, I can tell you the Hyper is the BOMB. It just plain kicks ***. However, their customer service is flat horrible. Great product , suck service

I have to disagree with dre.

I bought my hyperframe USED. Hooked it up, and it started to chew my bolt up. So, I called Centerflag and they sent me a longer on/off at no charge. That seemed to fix the problem but my bolt was in bad shape, so I called them back, got an RA number, sent my gun in, and they tuned it and replaced the bolt with a new longnose bolt FOR FREE!

I think most people would say that Centerflag has pretty good service.

Well, I'm glad you had better service than I did bro. I got mine back with after three weeks with no manual, and with my drop forward I had before completely disassembled and in the box. I sent it in completely put together, and got it back with the grip installed but the drop and the air line completely off. This pissed me off becuase I know they didn't test fire it for problems before it left the shop since they didn't reinstall this stuff. I think it highly unlikely they would have thrown an airline w/teflon tape on it just to test it, then took it off again. Anyway, that's not TOO big a deal, I put her back together.

Then I noticed that the safety didn't work, which soon changed to it got stuck waaaay out of position. Originally, when I called they said they got the wrong safety pin installed in it (they thought maybe the one for the Pirahnna frame or something). They said they would send me the right one with detailed instructions on how to install. I had to call again a week later and remind them to send it, and once I recieved it it came in a brown envelope with no instructions. I was getting irritated by this point because I had put in three calls and not gotten crap done. So, I then proceeded to call three more times and email twice (both nasty mind you) and didn't get any response any of the times. They were gone most of that period to SkyBall.

Finally, one of the better techs there got on the phone with me and sent me the instructions through an email and I put it in, although it still doesn't do anything. I don't see how their safety design works at all since it doesn't actually block anything in the grip's operation. It's irrelevant to me, since I have an on/off on my tank and can always turn the handle off as a safety, but it pisses me off it has to be that way. My last complaint about them is, they were still advertising the Hyper with three modes of fire when I ordered but it came programmed with two becuase they stopped making the full auto mode. I don't really care since I think full auto shouldn't be allowed anyway, but there was a courtesy thing there I think they missed.

As for the mods they did, I know they did the standard valve replacement that keeps the bolt chewing out, and they installed the grip, but other than that I don't really see anything different. They may have bored out the main screw hole in the back top of the handle, but that looks like it. Anyway, as I stated before: kick *** product suck service N*Joy!
