"Trucks can fly!" LOL
They have every argument, except for the fact that nothing from the gun will affect the ball once it leaves the barrel.
Backspin from gas pressure alone; you need some spin; closed bolt is more accurate; open bolt is more accurate....
Every one of them is talking like the PBReview guys! "The heck with the facts, this is what I know!"
Ah well, other than lighting them up with a few accurate bonus balls from all the way across the field, what can you do?

why don't you just explain the elves to them. I'm sure they will believe it. They believe everything else.

I think I read somewhere in the New England Journal of medicine that reading a "Paintball Range" thread can take away a few days of your life expectancy...
Its probably from that urge to ram your head into your monitor...

BEST ARTICLE EVER!!! (end sarcasm)
Let's see... the "Background" is golden
>>Since my introduction to paintball, I have heard the same thing as everyone else, namely that a paintball fired at 300fps has the same range as any other paintball fired at 300fps. Like many others, I realized that this did not hold true in an actual paintball environment. Many times I have been in a position where I could hit my opponent and no matter what he did, his paint would drop off long before it got to me.
This paper is meant to bring to light some of the hidden factors of paintball and explain why certain markers do have more range and accuracy than others.
<<
Hidden factors... he must be talking about the elves. SOmone should pose this question to PbNation. Why would companies that stand to lose hundreds of thousands of dollars just IGNORE these factors and produce guns that limited compared to their competitors?
Ahh... so much more to be said about this article... read about the "turbulent" vs. the "orderly" air for a good laugh.
