    Flatline Drop Forward Question

Alright, I am looking for a Dovetail drop that is as close to the stock Flatline drop as possible. I LOVE the feel of my Flatline with the stock drop, but it is way too hard to get the Flatline on and off.

I am looking at the Shocktech Stumpy Drop Forward. That's the middle size drop. Can anyone post pics of a Mag setup with a Shocktech Stumpy?

I'm also looking at the KAPP Micro Apocalypse Drop.
Or how about pics with Mags setup with a Dovetail drop that is the same size as the stock Flatline?

    Thanks In Advance ~ Dave

You could always try one of these Quick Disconnect Blocks (it's what I use):

        hitech,
Thanks for the advice. I'v enot heard good things about the QD Blocks, they rattle and such. I'm thinking of going with the mid size Shocktech drop. I think that'll do me well.

        Thanks ~ Dave

I use a short drop made by CP. I like it a lot, and it doesn't angle you tank like the shocktech.

              Check it out.

                  hmm

the SHocktech drops angle the tank????? Are you sure about that? I might be gettin the stumpy (short) Shocktech drop, or that Apoc slide on rail.
lookin fer IR3 or Xtreme (C&C)

black RT Mag for sale. Great condition. Stock barrel, sanded bolt, I-frame, blade trigger. Extra parts, bolt spring, internals o-rings, extra hardline, nubbins, hardline. it doesnt break balls except on ppl. asking $450.

Yeah, my buddy has one, and it angles it a little bit.. bout 5-10 degrees. I think because it is so short, that it has to in order for the tank to fit.

Shocktech makes an angled drop for CO2 setups, as well as a long & short rail. The rails are not angled.

I can comment as I own both styles, angled on my Mag, Long rail on my Angel.

My understanding with the ShockTech drops are that the Mini drops angle the tank and the Stumpy (or shorty) and the long drop do not. That's what I've gathered thru my research...?

I thinkg I have decided on the ShockTech Shorty because I'm 99% sure it is the about same size as the stock Flatline drop. I'll let ya know when I find out...

Joker is correct. There is a 5-10 degree angle on the Shockteck Mini.
